After months of preparation, web design, planning, and research, motmot.ca is finally launching to the public, as well as businesses and businessowners. With the help of a grant from takingitglobal, and support from Ocean Wise’s YouthToSea program, I have made a website, map as well as a survey based on much research to best survey local businesses.
Over the next few months, motmot.ca will slowly transition to a fully functional consumer tool, as the motmot.ca business database grows, and as the business sign-up process becomes more robust.
With feedback from both businesses and consumers, motmot.ca can become a convenient and useful tool, as well as a positive force for change in how we impact the environment.
